How it works

Table bookings are an optional add-on, run over WhatsApp too. £29 a month, or £290 a year, with no card payments on the site yet. Or, if you already use a booking tool, we simply link to it from your site.

How it works

  1. We build it

    Type your business name and town. We read your Google listing and anything you already have online, and build your site in about a minute.

  2. You check it and pay

    Pick a look and your colours. Fill in the few details a website legally needs. Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Direct Debit.

  3. You change it by message

    “We're closed Monday.” “Here's the new menu.” Send it on WhatsApp, see a preview, press Publish. That's it.

Do I need to log in?
No. There is nothing to log in to. Your phone is the login.
What if I break it?
You can't. Every change is shown to you first, and you can always put it back to how it was.
Who writes the words?
We start from what you already have. You tell us what to change, in your own words.
What about photos?
Send them on WhatsApp. They go straight onto the site once you say yes.
Will Google and the AI assistants find it?
Every site we build carries structured data behind the scenes, the labels search engines and AI assistants read, so your hours, menu and address are right wherever they are read. We cannot promise where you appear in a search; we can promise that what Google and the assistants read about you is right, and stays right.
Who makes the changes?
An automated assistant, with us behind it. You send the message, it makes the change and shows you a preview, and nothing goes live until you say yes. When it can't help, a person replies.

Questions

Do I need to log in to anything?
No. Your WhatsApp is the way in. Billing is handled by Stripe, who email you a link when you need one.
What if I break the site?
You can't. Every change is shown to you as a preview before it goes live, and you can put the site back to any earlier version with one message.
Can my staff make changes too?
Yes. Say "add Jo, 07700 900123" in the chat and Jo can send changes the same way you do. Only you, the owner, can add or remove people.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Point it at us and it works within the hour. If you'd like us to register one for you, ask and we'll sort it within a day.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days, with the website and table bookings if you want them. We take your card at the start so your site carries on without a gap, and message you 3 days before your first payment. Cancel before then, by replying CANCEL on WhatsApp, and you pay nothing. During the trial your site uses its free townmember.com address.
